On September 4, Thu Duc Regional General Hospital said that patient K.T. (25 years old) - the victim of the crane collapse at the construction site of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project (on the afternoon of September 3), has undergone emergency surgery. The patient is currently being actively monitored by doctors, continuing to treat and control complications that may occur after surgery.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 3, a crane inside the construction site suddenly collapsed, crushing two workers. The incident caused a 46-year-old man to die on the spot, while Mr. K.T. seriously injured.
Immediately after the accident, Mr. K.T. was given first aid by the authorities and the Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center and taken to Thu Duc Regional General Hospital. When admitted to the hospital, the patient was still conscious but showed signs of head, chest, and abdominal injuries. The examination and chupation results showed that the patient had broken ankles, hemorrhagic shock and internal bleeding, and had to undergo emergency surgery at night.
