On the morning of July 13, Military Hospital 87 under the General Department of Logistics and Technical Department said that the unit had coordinated with the Red Cross Society and the Khanh Hoa Province Blood Transfusion Hematology Center to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the message "Donate blood to save people - Connecting hearts, connecting lives".
The festival attracted the enthusiastic participation of many officers, employees, and soldiers of Military Hospital 87.
Many people have participated in blood donation many times, demonstrating a deep sense of humanity and community responsibility.

Senior Lieutenant Bui Cong Chinh - Assistant of the Logistics Department - said that he has donated blood 8 times: "At first, I was worried about my health, but after the first few times, I felt my body was still stable so I continued to maintain it regularly."
For Captain Nguyen Van Thang - a doctor treating the Department of Emergency Resuscitation - blood donation has become a habit of sticking with the profession. I have donated blood more than 20 times and have recently participated in platelet donation. During the emergency care, there were many critical patients who needed urgent blood transfusions. Donating blood is the most practical way for me to contribute and save the lives of patients," he said.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Hanh - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the 87 Military Hospital, this is the second time the unit has organized the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival under the direction of the Ministry of National Defense. In addition, the Hospital also maintains a reserve blood donation team, ready to support in emergency situations.
We will continue to direct mass organizations to develop specific plans and widely mobilize cadres, soldiers, employees and workers to actively participate in blood donation, as well as register to participate in the hospital's reserve blood source, said Lieutenant Colonel Hanh.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received more than 150 units of blood, contributing to timely supplementation to the blood supply for treatment at medical facilities in Khanh Hoa province.
This is a noble gesture, spreading the spirit of mutual love in the community.
