On November 7, a representative of Military Hospital 175 informed the unit that received about 40 patients with symptoms of food poisoning on November 6. Most patients have symptoms of abdominal pain and vomiting.
Of these, 3 patients had to be hospitalized for monitoring, of which 1 patient had unstable health, had a fever and abdominal pain, and was being actively treated. The remaining patients have mild symptoms and should be treated as outpatients.
It is known that most patients are hospitalized after eating bread at a bakery on Nguyen Thai Son Street (Hanh Thong Ward).
A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety said that the unit had received the information and was verifying and clarifying.
