In this locality, a dengue fever outbreak has just been detected with 4 cases of the disease.

On the morning of August 6, the working group of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Ha Tinh province visited Toan Thang village to work with Thanh Sen Medical Center and local authorities to deploy epidemic prevention measures to control and prevent the epidemic from spreading.

Currently, CDC Ha Tinh also recommends that local health agencies and authorities step up propaganda on epidemic prevention measures on loudspeaker systems; Strengthen monitoring of cases with suspicious signs to medical facilities immediately for monitoring and treatment, absolutely do not let patients buy medicine to treat at home.

Thus, this is the second outbreak detected in Ha Tinh since the beginning of 2025.

Previously, the first outbreak was detected in Hai Thanh village, Song Tri ward with 7 cases. Up to this point, the first outbreak has ended after 14 days of no new patients being detected.
