On August 21, the Trade Union of Ngai Giao commune (HCMC) coordinated with the HCMC Labor Federation (HCMC) to organize the awarding of scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies in the area.
In the program, Mr. Tran Tien Chuong - Deputy Director of Vietcombank Phu My Branch - represented the delegation to present a symbol of 50 scholarships, worth 50 million VND to representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund.

Thereby, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union awarded 25 scholarships to 25 students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, but have strived to achieve good academic results. The remaining scholarships will continue to be awarded to poor students who are good at studying in other localities.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - commented that in recent years, awarding scholarships from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund has been one of the meaningful activities, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and social responsibility of the Trade Union organization towards children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances but full of determination and studiousness.
"The scholarships not only have material value but also convey the trust and expectations of the Trade Union and society to the students - the future generation of the country. Hopefully, they will continue to strive to study well to become useful citizens for society," said Mr. Hung.
