The selection round for athletes to participate in the Vietnam Women's Tennis Team to compete in the above tournament took place at the Military Region 7 Sports - Physical Training Center (Ho Chi Minh City). At the end of the selection process, two tennis players Vu Khanh Phuong and Tran Natasha won a place in the national team.
Previously, the Vietnam Tennis Federation awarded 3 official prizes based on expertise to tennis players Nguyen Thi Mai Linh, Ngo Hong Hanh and Phan Diem Quynh.
6 players must compete to select 2 athletes who have competed in the selection round, including Dao Uyen My, Tran Natasha, Vu Khanh Phuong, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Dang Thi Hanh and Nguyen Thi Mai Huong.
Thus, the Vietnam Women's Tennis Team registered 5 players officially to participate in the Billie Jean King Cup International Team Cup Group III 2025 from November 10 to November 15 in Lam Dong.
The Vietnam Tennis Federation and the professional department organized a selection match to find suitable faces to participate in the events for the Billie Jean King Cup Group III 2025 after there were reports that the personnel selection was not suitable.
Currently, the Vietnam Tennis Federation is also gradually determining the female athletes who will participate in the 33rd SEA Games. The team will register 5 female tennis players to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
