According to Governor of Mykolaiv region, Mr. Vitaliy Kim, 2 of these people had to be hospitalized. The published images show that many houses were almost completely destroyed, with bricks and stones scattered everywhere.
Mr. Kim said that 23 private houses, 12 apartment buildings and 1 post office were damaged in the attack. There was no immediate response from Russia, while both sides denied targeting civilians in the conflict.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched 76 attack drones and 7 missiles against many targets across Ukraine overnight, hitting 8 locations. The Ukrainian air defense force shot down 60 drones and 1 missile.
In frontline areas Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, at least three people have been killed and more than 12 injured in the past 24 hours due to Russian attacks, according to local officials.
The capital Kiev was also attacked by missiles in a short time overnight, but there were no casualties or damage. Mykolaiv was a hot spot during the early stages of the conflict and although Russia withdrew from the region by the end of 2022, the threat of missiles and drones remained constant.
