China's Baidu technology group has recently submitted a patenting application for an artificial intelligence (AI) system capable of translating animal sounds and body language into human language. The application was submitted to the National Intellectual Property Administration of China, marking a new step forward in efforts to improve communication between humans and animals.
According to the patenting documents, this AI system can collect and analyze signals such as barking, mao mao and behavioral manifestations.
Based on that, AI will decode and convert it into meaningful information that humans can understand. In addition to transmitting recorded content, this technology is also expected to express the emotions of pets more clearly.
Currently, the project is still in the research phase, with no specific schedule for launch date or practical application. However, information about this technology has quickly attracted the attention of the pet-loving community in China.
Many people expressed expectations about the ability to talk directly with animals in the future, but there were also many skeptical opinions about the feasibility of the technology, especially when current animal language processing tools are still inaccurate and unconvincing.
Baidu affirms that the new AI system has the potential to improve the quality of human and animal relationships, not only stopping at language understanding but also expanding to the field of emotional communication. If successful, this will be a breakthrough in technology connecting species, opening a new era of interaction between humans and pets.
While the dream of real-time chats with pets is still ahead, advances like Baidu's project show that future is getting closer.
