To date, Vietnamese representative agencies have supported 556 Vietnamese citizens stranded in the Middle East.

On the afternoon of April 2, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Thu Hang answered press questions about the situation of Vietnamese citizens in the Middle East region today.

Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said: "Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese representative agencies in Iran, Israel and neighboring countries have reviewed and summarized the aspirations of Vietnamese citizens in the host country, coordinated with relevant functional agencies, and are ready to deploy appropriate support plans.

Ms. Hang added that Vietnamese representative agencies in the Middle East region continue to maintain hotlines and implement measures to support citizens to return home or go to third countries safely.

So far, Vietnamese representative agencies have supported 556 Vietnamese citizens stranded in the Middle East" - the spokesperson informed.

Vietnamese citizens in Iran, Israel and neighboring countries need to continue to monitor information from local authorities, warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies in the region.

In case of emergency or difficulty, Vietnamese citizens can immediately contact the 24/7 citizen protection hotlines of Vietnamese representative agencies in Iran, Israel and neighboring areas or the Citizen Protection Switchboard of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for emergency support.
