AFP quoted Thai media on the morning of August 7 as saying that at least 10 students were injured in a shooting at a school in a northern province of Bangkok.
Meanwhile, Thai PBS reported: "A shooting occurred at a famous high school in Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi province. Initial reports indicate 10-15 people were injured.
Police identified the suspect as a student. No further details have been revealed.
In the photos spread by rescuers, students rush out of Debsirin Nonthaburi school while ambulances are being deployed. In one photo, one person is lying on a stretcher outside the ambulance, while another is being cared for by doctors.
In February this year, 1 teacher was killed and 1 student was injured in Hat Yai district, southern Thailand, after a gunman opened fire on a school.
