Bakayoko will become "Kante 2.0" in the hands of Conte
N'Golo Kante's success in Chelsea is undeniable. Now, with the additional service of Bakayoko, Antonio Conte wants to take his student to a new level.
Moving to Chelsea from AS Monaco in July for £40 million, the "new Vieira" of French football quickly showed the qualities that helped him compare with Kante in the club's midfield center. Although his physique is not too tall, like Kante, his ability to sweep and manage the field well at short distances makes him an extremely high-quality transfer bridge between the Blues' defense and attack.
In addition to his available qualities, Bakayoko also shows that he is a very suitable person for the Premier League. A colorless playing style, simple passes with high accuracy, along with that is a seemingly endless physical source.
Obviously, it is not Alvaro Morata, Bakayoko is the most satisfactory contract that Conte has brought to the club this summer. With Kante and Bakayoko in midfield, the Italian coach considered him to have a solid advantage in the challenges and intercepted from a distance.
Alexis Sanchez: The broken wheel is gradually healing
After Arsenal's humiliating 0-4 defeat to Liverpool in round 3, Sanchez thought he would immediately say goodbye to the "Gunners" but the opposite happened.
Leaving a metaphoric smile on the bench when the home team "done" against The Kop, Sanchez gradually returned to himself when Arsenal crushed Bournemouth 3-0 in round 4. Although we know that Bournemouth is not a level playing opponent with Liverpool, it is still a smile, but this time is different from the previous round. Sanchez smiled satisfactorily despite only coming off the bench.
"We have always loved Alexis because he is a special person. The club is happy to have him here and Alexis himself feels the same way," coach Wenger shared.
After the 2017 summer transfer window closed, Sanchez played weak cards, did not sign a contract with Arsenal and accepted to become a free player in the summer of 2018 to go wherever he wanted. Man City's £70 million offered 2 months ago is an undeniable figure for the striker in the context of Arsenal's decline.
Although Sanchez has not yet re-signed with Arsenal, at least, when this striker is willing to contribute again, the "Gunners" still have a reason to cling to the big match against Chelsea in round 5.
The match between Chelsea and Arsenal in round 5 of the Premier League will take place at 7:30 p.m., Vietnam time at Stamford Brigde Stadium.
