The Cong Tan Cang surprisingly won 3-1 against Sanest Khanh Hoa (25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22) to temporarily rise to the top of the rankings. This was also Sanest Khanh Hoa's first loss since the beginning of the tournament.
Learning from the experience of the women's event that saw many surprises, the men's teams need to be more careful.
In the late match, Ha Tinh also defeated Da Nang with a score of 3-1 (22-25, 31-29, 25-23, 26-24). Despite losing the first set, Ha Tinh successfully turned the tables, with very close scores. They squeezed into the top 4 but played at least 1 more match than the other teams.

Phase 2 of the national volleyball championship takes place in Ba Ria Vung Tau from November 21 to December 1. The semi-finals and relegation matches begin on November 28.
