Former player Le Cong Vinh appeared with gray hair and a thinner face than before, attracting great attention from fans.
According to VFF, the former striker born in 1985 has completed 2 stages of the B coaching course, taking place from September to November 2025.
In addition to theoretical content, he also spent a training internship in Nghe An. In the first stage of the event in Ha Tinh, Cong Vinh was elected to the role of class monitor.

Le Cong Vinh grew up at Song Lam Nghe An training center and is one of the most outstanding strikers in the history of Vietnamese football. He scored 51 goals for the national team, 116 goals in the V.League and won 3 Vietnam Golden Balls (2004, 2006, 2007).
The biggest mark in Cong Vinh's career was the decisive goal that helped Vietnam win the 2008 AFF Cup.
At club level, he played in Portugal for Leixoes and Consadole Sapporo (Japan).
In 2020, AFC honored Cong Vinh as one of the five legends of Southeast Asia. At the end of 2024, he was nominated to the ASEAN Cup legendary list.
After retiring in 2016, Cong Vinh had a period of time as the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Club before switching to developing a youth football academy.
Completing the B coaching certificate is considered a premise for him to return to the top football environment as a coach.
