Thanh Thuy shares when receiving MVP award
Today (November 22), Tran Thi Thanh Thuy continues to show impressive form, helping Gunma Green Wings defeat Okayama SeaGulls - Tran Thi Bich Thuy's new team with a score of 3-0 in the 2025-2026 Japanese National Volleyball Championship.
In this match, Thanh Thuy played as the main striker. Not only did she play impressively in the attack, Thanh Thuy also supported the defense well. Thanh Thuy and Rozanski are the top scorers of Gunma Green Wings club against Okayama.
After the match, Thanh Thuy was awarded MVP (Best Athlete of the Match) by the organizing committee after her impressive performance. This is the second MVP title of the Vietnamese striker in the Gunma Green Wings shirt.

Thanh Thuy shared: "We are very happy to have won today. However, Okayama are a very enthusiastic team and make it difficult for us to score. Luckily, we had a good connection to play together and win.

Time to finalize the location of the 2026 national championship
Information about the venue for the 2026 National Volleyball Championship is receiving much attention. It is known that currently, 3 localities have sent documents requesting to host the tournament next year, including Dong Anh (Hanoi), Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long.
A final decision has not yet been made. It is expected that the professional board and competition organizer of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) will carefully consider making a final decision next week.
The 2026 National Volleyball Championship The 2026 National Championship will have 16 teams participating in both men's and women's events. It is expected that the tournament will still be held in 2 phases (round) as it is currently taking place. VFV will give the right to host the rounds to each specific location.
Positive signals from the women's team
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team won a narrow 3-2 victory over VTV Binh Dien Long An in a friendly match before the 33rd SEA Games.
The results accurately reflect the playing style and coordination of the whole team. Although they did not win by a large margin, the whole team showed the spirit that the coaching staff wanted, which was playing more players, handling complex situations and maintaining continuous pressure.

According to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, the main goal of the series of friendships is to assess the connection between positions, check tactical operational capabilities and adjust personnel. The matches at this stage also help the team control the amount of exercise and physical strength.
