After retiring in 2016, Pham Thi Yen switched to coaching, working at the Information Corps women's volleyball team. Therefore, her husband - Mr. Dang Duc Chung gave special wishes on the occasion of November 20 this year to congratulate his partner as well as those working in the education sector or sports coaching work.
Ly Thi Luyen continues to win
In the latest match of the 2025-2026 Mongolian National Volleyball Championship, Ly Thi Luyen's Hobby Ace team had a 3-0 victory over Ijil Altai.Tugrugiin Buyan. Notably, the Vietnamese middle blocker and her teammates interrupted the 5-set match. Before that, Hobby Ace had won 6 consecutive matches after 5 tense sets.
Ly Thi Luyen is one of two foreign players of Hobby Ace along with Hikaru Tamura (Japan). Hobby Ace is a team with many good achievements in the past 5 years with 3 runner-up positions in 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. However, this team has not been in the top 3 in the last 3 seasons.
Therefore, Ly Thi Luyen is expected to improve the ball blocking ability of Hobby Ace with a height much higher than her teammates.
Men's team coach shares
The Vietnam men's volleyball team is actively practicing to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games with the goal of achieving the highest achievement. In this call-up list, the coaching staff has called up 3 libero.
Coach Tran Dinh Tien said that this is a backup plan to ensure the first pass of the men's team. Mr. Tien said: "We still prioritize the position of main striker, in addition to attacking, we also have to support the first pass and defense well.
If the players can meet our requirements well, they will only need to call 2 libero. If we cannot meet the requirements, we will have to call 3 libero because the team's attack is not afraid. However, the biggest weakness is the first pass, especially at decisive moments".
