Kim Hue does charity
Recently, former volleyball player Pham Thi Kim Hue, boxing athlete Nguyen Thi Tam and friends participated in the charity program "Love Meal".
According to a member of the group, when the bus started to the program site, it rained heavily. However, when we reached halfway, the weather was clear, instead, cold air flooded in. Kim Hue and the whole group had a meaningful program together, were close to each other and had many more experiences.
The former Vietnamese women's volleyball player also had the opportunity to share stories and experiences in life as well as her competition journey.
Tra Giang is excited about the Hung Vuong Cup
On the afternoon of March 30, Vietinbank club won 3-1 against Duc Giang Chemicals in the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. At the end of phase 1, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team ranked 4th and had a ticket to the Hung Vuong Cup 2025.
After the match, middle blocker Dinh Thi Tra Giang shared: "Before meeting Duc Giang Chemicals, we had prepared a relaxed spirit. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and the whole team only focus on their expertise, trying to play the match as well as possible. I feel very happy with the fighting spirit of the whole team. It was great.
Phase 1 is a premise for us to be more confident when entering phase 2, taking place at the end of the year with the assigned goals. The ticket to the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 made me very excited. It's been a long time since I've participated in this tournament, since 2018. Hopefully, Vietinbank will have the most comfortable spirit to dedicate beautiful matches to the fans".
Bich Thuy's teammates visit Vietnam
In the match between Vietinbank and Duc Giang Chemicals on the afternoon of March 30, in the stands of Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi, there was a special audience. That is the middle blocker Oh Se-yeon of the GS Caltex team. Oh Se-yeon and Bich Thuy had a close relationship during the time the Vietnamese middle blocker competed in Korea.
As a result, Bich Thuy and Duc Giang Chemicals suffered a 1-3 defeat against Vietinbank. After the match, Oh Se-yeon went down to the field with Bich Thuy. The two talked happily together and went to the resting place of the Duc Giang Chemicals team.
Previously, GS Caltex head coach Lee Young-taik also came to Vietnam to watch Bich Thuy compete as well as watch the performances of the Vietnamese players.
