The ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee and the Asian Olympic Committee (OCA) will host the World Television Conference (WBM) and Press Information Conference (WPB) on May 21st and 22nd in Japan.
Issues related to ASIAD 20 television rights will certainly be raised at the International Television Conference. The information has been released by OCA.
Usually, ASIAD television rights belong to the host country. The television rights price depends on the host's proposal when given to television stations and media units.
3 years ago, ASIAD 19 held in China sold television rights. Vietnamese television stations and media units did not buy television rights for the Games and the competition content was not broadcast live in Vietnam at that time. With ASIAD 18 held in Indonesia, television stations and media units in Vietnam also did not own television rights for the competition program.
The National Olympic Committees are the focal point for the ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee to work with television stations and media units that are interested in the broadcasting rights of this year's Games.
Currently, the ASIAD 20 television rights price has not been disclosed to the outside. The Games will take place in Japan from September 19 to October 4. ASIAD 20 will host 41 official sports.
