According to Lao Dong's research, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is developing a plan to organize the 8th Congress of Delegates in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The expected time of organization will be in the first quarter of 2026.
Term 7 (2021-2025) will end in December this year. Therefore, the organization of the new term congress will be carried out to ensure the set requirements. Currently, the personnel work of the 8th Vietnam Volleyball Federation is under construction.
In term 7, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation elected an executive committee of 24 members. At that time, it was initially expected to have only 23 members, however, at the Congress, businessman Dao Huu Huyen was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation for the 7th term to have 24 members. The 7th President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huan.
Up to the present time of term 7, Vietnamese volleyball (home) has achieved some notable milestones. In particular, the Vietnam women's volleyball team has been ranked 4th at the 2023 Asian Championship and 4th at the 19th ASIAD.
In addition, the Vietnam women's volleyball team won the AVC Nations Cup 2023, 2024, 2025 and 3rd place in the FIVB Challenge Cup 2024, winning an official ticket to the 2025 World Championship. The Vietnam women's volleyball team also won the gold medal at the 31st and 32nd SEA Games.
