The Vietnamese athletics team participated in the women's 4x100m relay final at the 2026 Singapore Open International Athletics Championships in the afternoon of April 17.
Vietnam's squad includes Phung Thi Hue, Ha Thi Thu, Le Thi Cam Tu and Hoang Du Y. Among them, Kha Thanh Truc is registered as a substitute.
Entering the competition, 4 players in turn focused on maintaining their best results to finish first with a result of 45 seconds 18. The achievement helped the Vietnamese athletics team win a gold medal.
In this competition, the host team Singapore finished 2nd with a time of 50 seconds 94 and received a silver medal.
The Singapore athletics relay team does not have athlete Veronica Shanti due to injury on the previous day of competition.

The above results are the first international gold medals in 2026 of the Vietnamese athletics team. Last year, the women's 4x100m relay team of Vietnamese athletics won a silver medal at SEA Games 33 held in Thailand.
