After careful preparation and consensus from leaders at all levels, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc football club officially changed its name to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai football club, marking a new turning point in the journey of professional development and integration with the locality after administrative merger.
The decision to change the name received high consensus from the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Football Federation as well as Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. This is not only a change in the title but also shows the club's flexible adaptation and determination to transform strongly in the new period.

According to the club, the renaming is to match the name of the new administrative unit, while at the same time sending the spirit of continuing and spreading the identity of "Green Warriors" - a symbol of resilience and aspiration to rise in Vietnamese football.
The club also expressed its desire to upgrade Dong Nai Stadium to make it an official home stadium, while continuing to use Binh Phuoc Stadium as a youth training center and an additional competition venue. This is a long-term strategy to build a sustainable and comprehensive football ecosystem.
In addition to the name change, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai club is also undergoing a strong reform in terms of personnel and expertise. The team's leadership has appointed coach Nguyen Viet Thang - who helped Phu Dong Ninh Binh win the First Division with an unbeaten record
Notably, former player Nguyen Quang Hai also participated in the coaching staff as an assistant coach, supporting the development of a modern and effective playing style for the squad that currently has many experienced players such as Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, Minh Vuong or Le Van Son.
With a strong force and a passionate coaching team, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai club aims to win a ticket to the V.League promotion in the near future, while actively contributing to the development of regional football after the administrative merger.
