After a thorough professional working session on the evening of December 5, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Table Tennis Team has selected players to participate in each event at the 33rd SEA Games.
According to Lao Dong's research, the Vietnam Table Tennis Team will register Dinh Anh Hoang and Nguyen Duc Tuan to participate in the men's singles event while Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Nguyen Thi Nga will compete in the women's singles event. These are the 2 events that experts pay the most attention to in the SEA Games arena.
In addition to them, the remaining faces will participate in doubles and team groups according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee. The regulations on table tennis at the 33rd SEA Games stipulate that in addition to the team event, each player of a given country cannot participate in more than 2 individual and doubles events.
At the 32nd SEA Games, the Vietnam Table Tennis Team won the gold medal in the men's and women's doubles event (Dinh Anh Hoang, Tran Mai Ngoc). This year, the 2 players will continue to compete in this event and aim to protect the No. 1 position they are holding.
The Vietnamese table tennis team is practicing in Hanoi before going to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games on December 10. Table tennis will be competed in Bangkok (Thailand) from December 12 to December 17, including 7 events (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team).
