On the afternoon of December 4, the entire Vietnam Table Tennis Team played a friendly match with the Russian Federation Team on a table tennis practice basis at the People's Public Security Sports Training Center.
In each match, Vietnamese athletes will compete directly against opponents from the Russian Federation. Head coach Vu Van Trung of the Vietnam Table Tennis Team acknowledged that this is a friendly practice match with many useful professional lessons to help our players gain experience.
The Vietnamese table tennis team will participate in the 33rd SEA Games with a squad consisting of Dinh Anh Hoang, Nguyen Anh Tu, Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba Tuan Anh, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Thi Nga, Bui Ngoc Lan, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Tran Mai Ngoc and Mai Hoang My Trang. In which, the two tennis players Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc are the current champions of the men's and women's doubles event at the SEA Games.
The Vietnamese table tennis team has just finished its training session in Nam Ninh city (China). The players are expected to go to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games on December 9.
