On April 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in collaboration with the Vietnam Sports Department organized the opening of the Billiards & Snooker Championship in the first round of 2025 in Vung Tau City.
The tournament attracted nearly 1,200 players from 25 provinces, cities and branches across the country to attend, competing 6 men's menu including: 1-tape carom, 3-band Carom, 9-Ball Pool, Pool 10-Ball, Snooker 6 Bi Red, English Billiard.
The content will play in the form of live format, to select each content of 16 players to attend the final round of the national championship, and compete with famous players. Particularly, the content of 3 -tape carom will take 32 defense.
According to the Organizing Committee, this is a prestigious sporting event, with a large scale and top professional quality, taking place in an exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
As planned, the tournament is expected to take place within 10 days from April 13 to the end of April 22. Through the tournament, it contributes to the development, stimulating tourism and promoting the image of a modern, dynamic, safe and potential Ba Ria - Vung Tau and potential in organizing large -scale sporting events.
