The defending champion of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament, PFU Blue Cats (Japan), will not come to Vietnam to play this year.

According to research, the representative of Japanese volleyball will not come to Vietnam in May due to scheduled matches at home.

The organizers of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament 2026 will invite another representative to replace the PFU Blue Cats team.

At the 2024 organization, the PFU Blue Cats team played the final and won 3-1 against LPBank Ninh Binh team and won the championship cup of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament 2024. The fact that the defending champion did not participate means that this year's tournament will definitely have a new champion.

The VTV9 - Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament is a competition program for women's volleyball teams. The organizers regularly invite quality guests to create attractive competition opportunities, bringing a fierce competition to serve the audience. VTV Binh Dien Long An team is the host of this tournament.

In 2024, despite being highly expected, VTV Binh Dien Long An team only ranked 4th. This year, the tournament is expected to be held in May at the Tay Ninh provincial gymnasium. VTV Binh Dien Long An team continues to be the host.

According to the plan, the tournament will have 8 teams participating, however, the Organizing Committee has not yet announced the specific list.
