Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu - Vice President of VFF, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - Secretary General of VFF, Mr. Pham Anh Dung - Member of the VFF Refereeing Board, along with representatives of the host unit and participating teams.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, VFF Secretary General Nguyen Van Phu emphasized the outstanding results of Vietnamese women's futsal in the past time, especially the national women's futsal team winning a gold medal at SEA Games 33 and participating in the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, these achievements show the positive effects from the organization, training and development of domestic tournaments, including the National Women's Futsal Championship.
On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation and the Organizing Committee of the tournament, I sincerely thank the close coordination and sense of responsibility of the clubs, teams, supervisors, and referees.

The 2025 National Women's Futsal Championship has the participation of 4 teams including: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Phong Phu Ha Nam.
The teams compete in a two-round round-robin format, calculating ranking points from first to fourth place to determine the overall ranking. The tournament takes place from December 29, 2025 to January 8, 2026.
Right on the opening day, the tournament took place in the first two matches with many notable developments. In the highlight match, Thai Son Nam TPHCM won 3-1 against Phong Phu Ha Nam. Thanh Ngan scored a double, while the remaining goal was scored by Bui Thi Trang.

In the remaining match, the Ho Chi Minh City women's club defeated Hanoi with a score of 2-1. Kieu Diem opened the score for Hanoi, but the goals of the Ho Chi Minh City women's club helped the home team successfully reverse the score, closing the opening day with a full 3 points.
