After a smooth trip, coach Diego Giustozzi and his team were welcomed and encouraged by Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Anh Tu (VFF) directly at Suvarnabhumi airport.
Sharing after arriving in Thailand, coach Diego Giustozzi expressed his satisfaction with the team's preparation process. He highly appreciated the support from VFF as well as the quality of the organization of the 5-week training session in Ho Chi Minh City.
I am very happy and grateful for the support of VFF over the past time. We have 2 weeks of specialized training for physical fitness and 3 weeks to complete and review tactical pieces. I am very confident that this team can make a successful tournament in Thailand, said the Argentine coach.
Speaking about the pressure at the SEA Games, coach Diego Giustozzi admitted that this is inevitable when wearing the national team jersey. However, he emphasized that the whole team is mentally well prepared.
"We are serving the Fatherland, so the pressure is obvious. I understand that the SEA Games are very meaningful to the Vietnamese people. But at this time, the team has improved a lot and is ready to face all opponents," he affirmed.
Sending a message to fans, coach Diego Giustozzi emphasized the spirit of dedication of his students. I cant predict the result, but I can assure you that the players will play with 100% enthusiasm, 100% heart.
In Thailand, the Vietnam futsal team will host in Nonthaburi, in the same hotel as the Vietnam women's futsal team. Logistics work, especially nutrition, has been carefully prepared by VFF to ensure the best conditions for the whole team before entering the competition.
