The final round takes place from August 8 to 12 at Bubadu Sports Complex, Dong Hoi Cultural and Sports Center, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi. Athletes compete in 25 sets of medals belonging to 5 age groups U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18.
Before entering the final round, the tournament was organized through 3 regional qualifying rounds in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. A total of more than 1,000 athletes from more than 70 clubs across the country participated in the tournament.
According to the organizers, building a competition system by age group creates conditions for young athletes to compete regularly, accumulate experience and improve professional qualifications. This is also the basis for experts to monitor, evaluate and discover promising faces for the national young Pickleball force.
In the final round, many young athletes left a noteworthy mark. Ngoc Han of Zocker club, although belonging to the U14 age group, won the U16 women's singles and U16 mixed doubles championships. This achievement shows the competitiveness of young athletes when competing in a higher age group.
In the U14 group, Dan Linh of Thai Nguyen is also one of the faces that attracted attention through her performance at the tournament. Meanwhile, Nguyen Anh Hoang of Da Nang won the U16 men's singles and U16 men's doubles championships.
The results at the tournament show that the young Vietnamese Pickleball force is developing both in quantity and quality. The fact that athletes are competing in a competitive environment in many age groups also contributes to accumulating bravery and competition experience.
The 2026 Viettel Tammi Cup National Pickleball Championship for young age groups is part of the 2026 national competition system. In addition to determining the champions in each event, the tournament also aims to develop a successor force for Vietnamese Pickleball.
Through the rounds, experts have more basis to select outstanding athletes, aiming for young Asian and international Pickleball tournaments in the near future.
The rapid development of Pickleball in recent years has raised the requirement to build a systematic youth competition system, thereby creating a source of successor athletes for higher levels. The tournament in Hanoi is one of the steps in this direction.
After the national youth tournament, the 2026 Pickleball competition system is expected to continue with the National Excellent Racket Players Pickleball Tournament in Lao Cai in September. This is a playground for athletes with outstanding achievements, thereby continuing to create a competitive environment and evaluate the level of domestic players.
Maintaining the tournament system from the youth level to the group of excellent athletes is expected to help Pickleball Vietnam gradually improve its force, improve professional quality and create a foundation for athletes to aim for regional, continental and international arenas.
