This was the 401th goal of Kane's career and the first time he has scored in eight consecutive club games. Before the end of the first half, Luis Diaz scored his first goal for Bayern in the Champions League after a second pass from Laimer. In the second half, coach Vincent Kompany took turns withdrawing the pillars but the home team still had an additional goal to seal the score at 4-0 in the 79th minute thanks to Nicolas Jackson.
The victory helped Bayern increase their unbeaten streak at home in the Champions League group stage to 36 matches (34 wins, 2 draws) and are among the five teams that have won all 9 points after 3 rounds, along with PSG, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
