The name of Hoang Anh Gia Lai club is no longer on the banned list in the FIFA system.
Thus, the Pleiku home team can completely buy new players from the current season, V.League 2024-2025.
Previously, at the end of August 2024, FIFA requested Hoang Anh Gia Lai to pay Martin Dzilah 29,000 USD after the player filed a complaint.
FIFA then also imposed a ban on registering new players for Hoang Anh Gia Lai club until the team fulfilled its financial obligations to Martin Dzilah.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai also twice requested the police to work with Martin Dzilah, and at the same time accused this player of slander.
On January 11, Hoang Anh Gia Lai announced that the two sides had reached a settlement. The club would buy plane tickets, extend Martin Dzilah’s visa, and introduce a new team to him. Details of the $29,000 compensation were not mentioned.
