The second day of competition at the Hoa Lu Cup 2025 volleyball tournament witnessed many exciting and dramatic matches.
The early match between VTV Binh Dien Long An and Vietinbank (women) lasted up to 5 sets. Thanh Thuy and her teammates lost the first set with a score of 21-25, then defeated their opponents 25-22 in set 2.
In set 3, VTV Binh Dien Long An continued to lose 21-25, before winning the last 2 sets with the scores of 25-16 and 15-9 to bring a dramatic victory of 3-2.
Meanwhile, Border Guard also had a hard-fought victory against The Cong Tan Cang. In set 1, Ngoc Thuan and his teammates could only defeat their opponents with a score of 37-35, then won 25-19 (set 2) and 28-26 (set 3) respectively to bring home all 3 points.
Similar to VTV Binh Dien Long An, the LPB Ninh Binh women's team also faced many difficulties in the second match. Coach Thai Thanh Tung and his team need 5 sets to defeat the Information Corps with a dramatic score of 3-25-23, 27-29, 25-21, 16-25, 15-10).
In the late match, the LPB Ninh Binh men's team won 3-0 against Ho Chi Minh City Police with scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-14 respectively.
