Bac Ninh Legacy Marathon - Footprints of Quan Ho region in 2025 is not only a major sporting event of Bac Ninh province, but also a unique cultural mark, aiming to make Bac Ninh a favorite destination for the running community. Thereby, gradually appearing on the map of international marathons and contributing to effectively promoting tourism development.
According to the schedule, the tournament will officially take place on March 16, 2025 in Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province, expected to attract about 5,000 athletes to compete in 4 events, including: 5km, 10km, half marathon (21.097 km) and full marathon (42.195 km).
The Bac Ninh Legacy Marathon running route is uniquely designed, helping and certified by the Vietnam Athletics Federation as a standard running route.

Athletes will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, while experiencing and exploring the cultural and historical beauty of the land of Quan Ho.
The starting and finishing point is Kinh Bac Cultural Center Square. This is also a symbolic location representing the culture of Bac Ninh city.
Athletes will run through famous scenic spots: Ba Chua Kho Temple, Cung Gieng Ngoc Temple, Lim Festival, Ancient Citadel, Quan Ho Theater, Kinh Bac Cultural Center... connecting traditional values and spreading the image of Bac Ninh.
Along with the standardization of the running route, the organizing committee has invested heavily in operations to ensure the best experience for runners. A series of water stations, medical stations, and mobile toilets are arranged along the running route, along with the support of hundreds of volunteers to ensure security and the best support for the race.
The Bac Ninh Legacy Marathon aims to honor and promote UNESCO-recognized cultural heritages such as Bac Ninh folk songs, ca tru, the practice of worshipping the Three Palaces of the Vietnamese people, and the rituals and tug-of-war games of Huu Chap village as well as the heritages and relics of Bac Ninh province.
