On the afternoon of June 23, the announcement ceremony of the VTV LPBank International Marathon - The rhythm of the whole year 2025 took place in Vinh Phuc.
This is a tournament organized by Vietnam Television in coordination with Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province; Thanh An Media Joint Stock Company and LPBank.
This event is aimed at the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), celebrating the 55th anniversary of the first broadcast of the Vietnam Television (September 7, 1970 - September 7, 2025).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hoang - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, Head of the tournament Steering Committee said: "This is the second year the tournament has been held. The successes of last year's race in Cat Ba are the basis for us to continue organizing and believe that the VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 will leave a good mark.
As a national television station, we always want to bring a healthy, scale-based and professional playground to everyone. From now on, the organizing committee will prepare carefully to bring the best competition conditions and experiences for the athletes".
Following the success of the first season in 2024, the 2025 International Marathon will officially take place on August 16, 2025 at Flamingo Dai Lai resort, Vinh Phuc province.
The tournament is expected to attract thousands of professional and amateur athletes from around the world to participate. Among them, some national players such as Do Quoc Luat, Sam Van Doi, Thu Ha... also participated in the competition.
The 2025 International Marathon will have a unique running route winding along Dai Lai Lake, blending contemporary architectural works and cool green natural landscapes, promising to bring athletes classy and inspiring experiences.
Through the theme "Stors Through Time", the organizing committee hopes to spread the spirit of sportsmanship, at the same time express gratitude for the heritages of the past and inspire a dynamic development future, continuing the mission of connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts.
Through each season, Vietnam Television and the organizing committee also hope to build a series of large-scale, prestigious and quality running races for the running community.
