On November 18, at the National High-level Athletes Training Center, the Vietnam Shooting Federation in coordination with the Vietnam Olympic Committee and Department C06 of the Ministry of Public Security held the Opening Ceremony of the Training Course on the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Excavatory materials, Support Tools and a Professional Training Course for coaches, athletes and professional staff in 2025.
The training course took place from November 17-22 with the participation of 280 officers, coaches, and athletes from the Vietnam Shooting Federation, Ho Chi Minh City Shooting Federation, shooting schools of units, sectors, localities, Sports and Physical Training Universities, National Sports and Physical Training Centers, clubs, and shooting centers nationwide.

In his opening speech, Major General - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thien Minh - Vice President of the Vietnam Shooting Federation said: "The training course is organized to improve professional qualifications, legal knowledge, skills in using, managing, and preserving weapons and equipment, contributing to ensuring absolute safety in training, competition and professional work at units.
The Vietnam Shooting Federation always identifies 'People - Safety - Discipline - Professional' as a key factor in the current development strategy, towards international integration, achieving high achievements in major arenas such as the SEA Games, ASIAD and the Olympics.
To do this, the team of coaches, athletes and professional staff must be well-trained and regularly update new knowledge".
The training course includes 2 classes. Accordingly, class 1 (85 students) fosters and improves the professional qualifications of cadres, coaches, athletes and trains professional instructors on the sport of shooting on the World Shooting Law - taught by international shooting experts and lecturers of the Federation.
Class 2 (199 students) training to improve awareness of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives, Support tools and guiding documents for implementation for Vietnamese shooting officers, coaches and athletes - taught by Department C06 of the Ministry of Public Security.

This course not only aims to train and update knowledge, but also contributes to creating a standard, qualified and capable human resource system to serve the sustainable, safe and legal development of shooting in Vietnam.
At the end of the professional training tournament, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Vietnam Shooting Federation and localities will send a delegation of athletes to train in Korea from November 20 to December 2 to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games. Vietnam Shooting will participate in the competition of sung schools, rifle, flying disc Trap, Skeet and Compak Sporting.
