According to the Organizing Committee of Table Tennis at the X-2026 National Sports Games, 7 events including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team will be professionally drawn on August 7th in Hai Phong city.
Hai Duong ward Gymnasium (Hai Phong) will be the official competition venue for the events.
Currently, the 2026 Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Tournament is being held here from August 3rd to August 5th.
After the above tournament, the table tennis competition program of the X-2026 National Sports Festival initially entered the competition.
Nearly 140 tennis players from 14 units have registered their lists to the Organizing Committee of the X-2026 National Sports Games.
This year, the competition force comes from units including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Hung Yen, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Army, People's Police and Hai Phong.
Professional draw will have seed selection in each event.
The seeds for the team event will be based on the achievements of the teams at the IX-2022 National Sports Games. The seeds for the doubles and singles events will be based on the achievements of athletes at the National People's Newspaper Championship in 2025.
For the doubles event, athletes registered to compete must be from the same unit, not combined with other units or localities.
It is expected that the men's and women's team events will compete first. Next are the singles and doubles events.
The table tennis competition program of the X-2026 National Sports Festival will be the result of the 2026 Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship.
The entire tournament has nearly 500 million VND in prize money from the Organizing Committee.
