Tay Ho Half Marathon 2026 Powered by BIM Group took place on the morning of April 12 with the participation of more than 10,000 athletes, continuing to maintain a large scale in the semi-marathon system in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the 21km advanced system event recognized the advantage belonging to the athletes of the national athletics team.
In the women's event, Nguyen Thi Oanh finished first with a time of 1 hour 18 minutes 26 seconds, surpassing Pham Thi Hong Le. This is the 2nd consecutive year she has led this event, although she has not been able to reach the milestone of 1 hour 15 minutes 43 seconds achieved in the 2025 season.

Previously, this year, the athlete born in 1995 had another title when she won the 21km distance at the international half marathon with a time of 1 hour 16 minutes 38 seconds.
In the men's distance, Nguyen Trung Cuong continued to lead with a result of 1 hour 12 minutes 36 seconds. Compared to the best achievement of 1 hour 6 minutes 17 seconds set in the previous season, this time's score is lower, but still ensures him the highest position overall.
The results at the tournament showed the professional stability of the two key athletes, although there has been no improvement in individual records.

Nguyen Thi Oanh has strengths in the 5000m, 10000m and 3000m steeplechase events, and has won many medals in regional arenas. Meanwhile, Nguyen Trung Cuong stands out in the 3000m steeplechase event and has won a SEA Games gold medal.
This year's tournament is one of the important professional activities in the first half of 2026. After this event, athletes will continue to prepare for the major goal of Vietnamese athletics, ASIAD 20, scheduled to take place in Japan in September.
