Le Duc Phat is the only representative of Vietnamese badminton to participate in the 2026 Masters International Tournament held in China.

Le Duc Phat has arrived in China. The player entered the Masters 2026 International Tournament with the BWF World Tour Super 100 level of the world from May 12 to May 17.

Duc Phat is not seeded at this tournament. However, the Vietnamese player is entitled to participate in the competition from the main round of the men's singles event. Duc Phat's first match opponent will be a player who has to compete from the preliminary round.

Before coming to China to compete, Le Duc Phat won the men's singles championship of the 2026 National Badminton Club Championship.

Good news also just came to Duc Phat when the International Badminton Federation BWF awarded the player a ticket to participate in the 2026 World Championships. The tournament competition program takes place in August.

In the world rankings, Le Duc Phat is currently ranked 112th. However, this Army sports player aims to improve his performance this year to return to the best ranking in the BWF.

Earlier this year, Le Duc Phat asked to withdraw from the Vietnam Badminton Team to implement some of his own professional plans.

The most recent international tournament that Le Duc Phat participated in was Vietnam International Challenge 2026 held in Hanoi in March. However, the player did not enter the group of 4 players with the best results in the men's singles event.
