Starting in the afternoon of September 20th was the victory of Phakpong Dejaroen and Suphawadi Wongkhamchan in the mixed doubles event. The Thai athlete duo defeated Yuina Sakamoto - Akinori Wase of Japan with a score of 2-0.

In the women's doubles event, Jutatip Kuntatong and Suphawadi Wongkhamchan continued to bring home the second gold medal for Thailand after defeating Aung Hsu Mon - Than Phyu Phyu of Myanmar with a score of 2-0.

The third gold medal came from the men's doubles event when Sorrasak Thaosiri - Jirati Chanliang defeated Ahmad Kassem and Mohammad Hafez of Lebanon 2-0.

With 3 gold medals, the Thai sports delegation is temporarily ranked 5th in the ASIAD medal standings, and also leads in medal achievements in the group of 11 Southeast Asian countries.

At ASIAD 20, Teqball was included in the competition program for the first time. This sport uses a soccer ball but competes on a dedicated curved table, the net is divided in half on the table. Athletes can use their feet, head, chest or shoulders to move the ball to the opponent's court and are not allowed to use their hands.

Each side can touch the ball a maximum of 3 times before passing the ball over the net. Players must also not touch the ball twice in a row with the same body part. Therefore, in addition to ball handling techniques, players need to be able to predict the direction of the ball and coordinate quickly.

On September 20, in Teqball, the Vietnamese sports delegation also won the first bronze medal at ASIAD 20 when Nguyen Hoang Minh Tan and Trinh Gia Nghi surpassed the Indian pair in the mixed doubles event.
