The Indian chess player defeated ChatGPT without having to watch the chess goal

World No. 4 chess player Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu just had an interesting match with ChatGPT.

Notably, the 19-year-old did not look at the board during the game, but still won convincingly against OpenAI's chatbot.

In the match, Praggnanandhaa took the lead, turning his back on the goal. ChatGPT is supported by an intermediary that imports and implements the countries they go to. Starting with the Sicilian Defense, ChatGPT fought back quite well before making a serious mistake in the 9th country, when bringing the black code to b4 while the white good in c2 had disappeared. This mistake helped the Indian player gain the upper hand and gradually control the game.

Not stopping there, ChatGPT continues to make many illegal trips, most notably the 23rd country when it suddenly "revives" the previously arrested military families. Despite being surprised by the chatbot's "tricks", Praggnanandhaa still allowed the game to continue and end with a win.

In the last country, ChatGPT Forgot to Run for the King when shown, leaving Praggnanandhaa to "eat" the Black King - a country that violated the law in real chess, but could accept it in a performance board.

After the match, the Indian idol commented: "ChatGPT played well in the first phase, but made many invalid errors. Anyway, I believe it will improve in the future.

ChatGPT is known to be a product of OpenAI, a pioneer in the AI field since the end of 2022.
