Viet Thang Steel wins the 2025 National 7-a-side Football Cup in the Southern region

On the afternoon of November 15, VSC-S5 in the Southern region ended with the final match between Nghiem Pham Holdings and Thep Viet Thang teams.

For Nghiem Pham Holdings, this is the second time this team has participated in a VSC final in the Southern region, while Thep Viet Thang is the first time they have the opportunity to win titles in tournaments in the VietFootball system.

With the importance of a final match, both Nghiem Pham Holdings and Thep Viet Thang entered the match with a cautious playing style to test their opponents.

It was not until the final minutes of the first half that the stalemate of this match was opened. Thep Viet Thang was the team that took the lead after a beautiful coordination and decisive finish by captain Van Duy.

However, immediately after that, former Vietnam futsal player Dang Anh Tai scored a goal to raise the score to 4-1 for Thep Viet Thang, thereby ending all hopes of Nghiem Pham Holdings.

With this victory, Viet Thang Steel won the championship for the first time at VSC, this is also the first title of the Steel industry team in the VietFootball tournament system.

Previously, in the third-place match, the An Bien team defeated Xanh Phan Kha with a score of 4-2 to win the bronze medal in the final. At the same time, with the third place, An Bien is also the team that won the 3rd ticket of VSC-S5 in the Southern region to participate in the National Final Round.

The VSC-S5 final round takes place from November 29 to December 7 at Gia Dinh Stadium (HCMC) with 8 best teams from the North, Central and South.
