Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting)
The year 2024 marks impressive milestones for shooter Trinh Thu Vinh. She is one of two Vietnamese shooters to have a place at the Olympics in Paris, France.
For the first time participating in the prestigious arena, Thu Vinh brought many emotions to the fans. The female athlete born in 2000 won 4th place overall in the women's 10m air pistol event and 7th place in the women's 25m sport pistol event.
These are all Thu Vinh's best parameters ever, much higher than her training parameters.

Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (volleyball)
Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen is one of the outstanding athletes of the Vietnamese volleyball team in particular and Vietnamese sports in general. In the context of Thanh Thuy being injured and competing abroad, the Vinh Long hitter took on the role of captain and contributed to helping the national team achieve many impressive achievements.
In 2024, Bich Tuyen and her teammates won the AVC Challenge Cup (Asia) championship for the second consecutive time, won 3rd place in the FIVB Challenger Cup (world) for the first time, 2nd runner-up in the SEA V.League (Southeast Asia), 2nd runner-up in the VTV Cup, and 5th place in the Future Stars (friendly tournament).
In terms of personal achievements, Bich Tuyen became the best athlete of the AVC Challenge Cup 2024 (114 points), the top scorer of the FIVB Challenge Cup 2024 (77 points after 3 matches), the best opposite player of stage 1 of the SEA V.League 2024, and the best opposite player of the VTV Cup 2024.
In addition, the female athlete born in 2000 was also in the top 10 nominations for "Impressive Young Face - Sports" of VTV Awards 2024 and top 3 "Female Athlete of the Year" at the Victory Cup 2024.
Nguyen Thuy Linh (badminton)
Athlete Nguyen Thuy Linh is participating in the Olympics for the second time in a row. Although she stopped in the second round of the women's singles, missing the chance to enter the round of 16, the tennis player born in 1997 still had a year with many highlights.
According to statistics, in 2024, Thuy Linh will participate in 16 international tournaments, including 3 highest level Super 1,000 tournaments in England (March), Indonesia (June) and China (September); 3 Super 750 level tournaments in India (January), France (March), Singapore (May).
Most recently, in the October European tour, Vietnam's number 1 female tennis player reached the second round of the super 750 Denmark Open, then stopped in the quarterfinals of the German Open.
With a continuous competition frequency, Thuy Linh is the Vietnamese tennis player who has participated in the most international tournaments (up to now) in 2024. She is also the highest-ranked female athlete of Vietnamese badminton, ranked 31st in the world.
Nguyen Thi Huong
Nguyen Thi Huong is the first athlete to win an official spot at an Olympic Games for canoeing.
Not only participating in the Olympics, the rower born in 2001 made his mark when winning 3 gold medals in the Asian U23 category: C1 500 women's individual, C2 200 women's pair, C2 500 women's pair.
These achievements helped Nguyen Thi Huong surpass My Tien (swimming) and Nhi Yen (athletics) to win the 2024 Victory Cup Young Athlete of the Year award.
