This is a communication award on Human Rights chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracting the widespread participation of many artists, intellectuals, culturalists, athletes, coaches, students, people with disabilities, journalists, media agencies, and the special presence of many generals and military officers from different periods in the Southern region.
The response ceremony is considered one of the typical activities, opening a series of events accompanying the contest nationwide, contributing to the strong spread of the values of human rights, the spirit of decent living and the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy Vietnam.
The program is not only a simple launching ceremony but also a cultural - artistic - sports space where people from many fields together express the message of living for the community, living responsibly and lovingly.
Dr. Vo Danh Hai - Vice President of the World Martial Arts Association, Standing Member of the Organizing Committee of the Southern Region - emphasized: "In a moment of peace, when the country is developing and the world is full of change, each of us, whether artists, athletes, students or soldiers, can become a "Golden Star Warrior". Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Sports for the Disabled, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - emphasized: "When the disadvantaged are given the right to express, be recognized and respected, that is the most practical step to build a happy society".
The response ceremony also recognized the active participation of outstanding artists and athletes. Conductor Tran Nhat Minh believes: "Music is the strongest voice of the right to live decently".
Singer Quang Dung emotionally shared: To sing at todays ceremony is my great honor, because music not only brings emotions, but also carries the mission of citizenship.
Dr. Ly Dai Nghia - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Sports and Physical Training, Vice President of the Vietnam Paralympic Association - affirmed: "Sports is a path that opens up opportunities for confident and valuable living for people with disabilities and is a vivid manifestation of human rights".
Outstanding disabled athletes representing Ho Chi Minh City also expressed their pride in being present at a festival where "everyone is listened to and respected".
