The coaching staff of the Vietnam Shooting Team has selected the best force of 44 shooters, including Trinh Thu Vinh, to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship starting in Thailand on October 7. On October 5, the whole team will leave for the competition.
Trinh Thu Vinh will participate in the events of 10m women's air revolver, 25m sports revolver and 10m team- milestone mixed revolver. The sharks have just finished the 2025 National Championship and have won medals.
The Southeast Asian Championship is held annually. However, this year's tournament is of great value as the 33rd SEA Games Golden Team Tournament, helping shooters from countries test their forces best.
In addition to Trinh Thu Vinh, the Vietnam Shooting Team also participated in many outstanding faces such as Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Pham Quang Huy, Ha Minh Thanh... Among them, Trinh Thu Vinh and Le Thi Mong Tuyen won a place to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
The Vietnamese shooting team determined that the results of the Southeast Asian Championship are preparations for Vietnamese shooters to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.
The 33rd SEA Games shooting event will organize 16 events for shooting competitions, 6 flying disc shooting events and 8 applied shooting events. It is expected that after the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship, Vietnamese shooters will have a professional training program.
