On the morning of December 13, in Nonthaburi (Thailand), Deputy Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games Nguyen Hong Minh visited and encouraged the Vietnam women's futsal team.
At the meeting, Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh acknowledged and praised the fighting spirit, efforts and determination of the entire team after the 3-1 victory over the Indonesian women's futsal team in the opening match. He highly appreciated the serious preparation, teamwork as well as the competitive spirit of the players, thereby helping the team have a smooth start at the 33rd SEA Games.
The Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation also requested the coaching staff and athletes to continue to maintain their focus, promote the strengths they have shown, and proactively adjust and improve their expertise to aim for the next matches with the goal of achieving the best results.
On behalf of the team, team leader Bui Thi Hien Luong and head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang thanked the timely attention and encouragement of the leaders of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Sports delegation. According to the coaching staff, this is an important source of encouragement, helping the players to be more confident and determined in their journey to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.
After a successful opening match, the Vietnam women's futsal team is focusing on recovering their physical strength, perfecting their tactics, and being ready for the next challenges on the journey to compete for medals at the congress.
