On the evening of August 23, at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, Tien Thanh Ward (Lam Dong), the Opening Ceremony of the Sports Festival took place with the theme "80-year Journey - For National Security".
This sporting - cultural event attracted more than 7,000 athletes from the armed forces, sports clubs and sports lovers across the country.
At the event, 6 sports were competed: Marathon, Golf tournament, Compak Sporting flying disc shooting, Kickboxing, tennis and Pickleball.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the Sports Festival 2025 is an opportunity to promote the image of Lam Dong - a land rich in identity, friendly and hospitable. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to spread the message of a healthy, dynamic and sustainable society.
Lam Dong has all the conditions to develop a strong and sustainable economy in the coming time. Especially in the field of physical education and sports, Lam Dong is ready to invite and organize many large-scale tournaments such as the Sports Festival and even bigger in the future.

Sports Festival 2025 is not only a series of vibrant sports festivals but also arouses national pride and dedication on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day. At the same time, it will connect the People's Public Security force with organizations, businesses and people.
