On the afternoon of July 26 in Bangkok (Thailand), the Vietnam women's team lost 0-2 to host Thailand in the final match of the women's team event of the 2025 King's Cup.
This is the first time Vietnamese women's cloud football has participated in the team event world final, after a victory over Korea in the semi-finals. However, against a Thailand that was superior in class and experience, the Vietnamese girls could not create a surprise.
In the first Regu, Vietnam proactively attacked the opponent's back row but soon lost the game. Thailand completely controlled and won overwhelmingly.
Entering the second Regu, coach Tran Thi Vui sent Tran Thi Hong Nhung, Le Ngoc Tuyet and Nguyen Thi My onto the field, but the Vietnamese team continued to reveal weaknesses in defense.
Although they could not win the championship, this is still a memorable milestone for Vietnamese women's cloud football in the world arena.
