On November 28, the Launching Ceremony of the Vietnam Esports Audition Team to attend the 33rd SEA Games took place in Hanoi.
This is a historic milestone, marking Audition's journey to rise - from a familiar entertainment game to an official Esports event, awarded separate medals in the regional arena.
In order to prepare for the Congress taking place in Thailand from November 9-20, the Esports Audition Vietnam team has selected athletes from domestic tournaments. Accordingly, 3 female athletes include Le Thi Hoai Phuong (VN_Elina), To Y Linh (VN_Linhh), Nguyen Hong Ngoc (VN_NguyenNgoc); 3 male athletes include Le Ngoc Truong Giang (VN_Demo), Roan Cong Thanh (VN_Hare), Nguyen Van Huy (VN_Giyu).
At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese Esports Audition team will compete in 3 events: men's individual, women's individual and men's team. This time's opponents come from countries in the region including Thailand, Laos and the Philippines.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports expressed his confidence that the athletes will compete with all their might, bringing achievements to Vietnam in the regional arena.
After the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, the Director also hopes that the Audition Department will continue to make stronger and more professional efforts in the organization stage, aiming for each athlete to become an ambassador to spread and promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people internationally.
According to the orientation, VTC will continue to upgrade content, music, and fashion with strong Vietnamese identity; expand the tournament system from school level to professional level; create more healthy Esports playgrounds, gradually making Audition a high-performance sport with international medals for Vietnam.
