Vietnam women's futsal team won 2/3 individual titles

    The Vietnamese women's futsal team has 2 players winning individual titles at the 2024 Southeast Asian women's futsal tournament.

    The 2-1 victory over Thailand on the evening of November 21 helped the Vietnamese women's futsal team officially win the 2024 Southeast Asian women's futsal championship.

    In addition to the championship, the Vietnamese women's futsal team also won 2 out of 3 individual titles in this year's tournament. Accordingly, player Phuong Anh won the title of Player with the most goals in the tournament with 5 goals. Team captain Thanh Hang also won the title of Best Player of the tournament.

    After the final match, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation congratulated the Vietnamese women's futsal team and praised the team's efforts to achieve the best result, the championship, and awarded the team 600 million VND.

    As planned, this afternoon (November 22), the Vietnamese women's futsal team will arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC).

    Winning the 2024 Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship will also help the Vietnamese women's futsal team significantly improve its score on the FIFA rankings. According to the current rankings, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team are ranked 11th.
