In the atmosphere of the first days of the new spring, when many spring travel activities are still taking place, the members of the national women's team quickly rejoined the training cycle, aiming for important tasks in 2026.
Notably, in the first training session after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday, the President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) - Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan directly visited and encouraged the whole team.
At the meeting, the VFF President sent New Year greetings to the coaching staff and players, and acknowledged the focused and serious spirit of the whole team when quickly returning to training.

2026 is considered an important time for the Vietnamese women's team when participating in the continental finals. VFF leaders requested the coaching staff and players to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, determination, and prepare carefully in terms of expertise, physical strength as well as competitive psychology, towards the goal of achieving high results at the tournament.
On behalf of the whole team, head coach Mai Duc Chung expressed his gratitude for the concern of VFF leaders, and affirmed that this is a great source of spiritual encouragement for the team collective on the first day of the new year. The coaching staff will develop appropriate training plans to help players achieve the best condition before the important tournament.
Captain Pham Hai Yen also sent Tet greetings on behalf of the players to the Federation leaders and coaching staff, and at the same time expressed his determination to practice and compete with the highest spirit.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will maintain training in Hanoi for 10 days before departing for Perth city (Australia) on February 27 to prepare for the journey at the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship finals.
