This is an activity within the preparation plan of the team before the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship, scheduled to be held in Australia in March 2026.

The practice match took place in a serious atmosphere, with a positive fighting spirit from both teams. In the end, the Vietnamese women's team won with a score of 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored in the 59th minute by Bich Thuy. Through this match, the coaching staff continued to assess the force, test squad plans as well as monitor the performance of each player.
In the second half, many personnel adjustments were made to allocate a reasonable mobility volume, and at the same time create conditions for players on the concentration list to play, serving the force review before the important tournament.

After the match, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan met and encouraged the coaching staff and players, recognizing the serious training spirit, efforts and determination of the whole team throughout the preparation process.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will continue to have another training match on January 30th. After that, the whole team will move to Shenzhen (China) to enter the next training phase, with two international friendly matches expected to improve professional skills, improve physical strength and strengthen team cohesion before entering the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship.
