One day before the match against the Malaysian team in the final round of the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers (March 30), the Vietnamese team had a training session to get used to Thien Truong Stadium with a comfortable spirit but still maintained high concentration.
Having already qualified for the finals early, the atmosphere of coach Kim Sang-sik's training session took place gently. However, the whole team still aims to close the qualifying campaign with a victory at home to thank the fans.
According to shares from the coaching staff, the Vietnamese team is determined to achieve positive results against Malaysia to maintain excitement for the next preparation phase. This is also an opportunity for some players to continue to affirm their role in the squad.
On the opposite side, Malaysia still shows determination to get points in the final qualifying match, thereby creating more motivation for the upcoming journey. This makes the competition between the two teams predicted to still take place at a high pace of competition even though it no longer has much meaning in terms of points.
In the training session, some faces such as Nguyen Xuan Son returned to Thien Truong stadium - a place that once marked impressive form during their time playing in Vietnam. Besides, other players such as Do Hoang Hen or Doan Van Hau also showed willingness for the opportunity to play.
The match between Vietnam and Malaysia will take place at 7:00 PM on March 31st at Thien Truong Stadium.
